September 12- 2020 FILIPINO INA AND HARVEST FESTIVAL WEEKEND

September 11-13 will mark a three-day-weekend of worship and prayerful fellowship opportunities for the faithful at America’s Marian Apparition Site. A festival honoring both the Nativity of Our Lady and the Feasts of Divino Rostro and Our Lady of Peñafrancia as part of the first, annual Filipino Ina and Harvest Blessing Festival at Champion.

Two Novenas will be prayed prior to and after the weekend, the first being the Novena to Divino Rostro Sept. 2-10 (to download prayers for this Novena, see our “Resources” page at www.championshrine.org) This Novena will culminate in the Feast Day Mass for Divino Rostro at 11 AM, Friday, Sept. 11, and prayerful worship and veneration of the image of Divino Rostro the afternoon of the Friday, September 11 at Champion Shrine.

Sept. 11 will also mark the start of the Novena to Our Lady of Peñafrancia, Sept. 11-19. (to download prayers for this Novena, see the resources page at www.championshrine.org)

The second day, Saturday, Sept. 12, will feature a celebration of the Nativity of Mary, with Holy Mass followed by Blessing of the Grapes and a Farm-to-Table luncheon featuring celebrity chef, Ace Champion.

The third Day of the three-day Marian celebration Sunday, Sept. 13, will feature the Feast Day Mass for Our Lady of Peñafrancia at Champion at 11 AM. followed by a Eucharistic Rosary Procession with Our Lady of Peñafrancia, Holy Hour at 2 PM and Divine Mercy Chaplet prayed at 3 PM.

There is a suggested free-will offering of $10 for those wishing to partake in the farm-to-table luncheon Saturday, Sept. 12 at 12:15 PM
