A Call to Teachers

Our Blessed Mother’s message to Adele was a call to teach; to “Gather the children in this wild country and teach them what they should know for salvation.”

As soon as Adele heard our Lady’s words, she immediately began her mission to teach children. She traveled by foot up to 50 miles from her home, even offering to do household chores just for the opportunity to teach families’ children. She later opened a school near the spot where the Blessed Mother appeared, so children could receive an education, learn the catechism and develop a relationship with God.

Whether you are a teacher, parent, sibling, or friend, our Blessed Mother’s timeless words still ring true in a world that faces uncertainty, fear, and desires for truth. Her call is one for all of us to ponder, especially her last words to Adele: “Go and fear nothing. I will help you.”
