Champion Shrine is blessed with the service of faithful believers who give of their time and talent but will be the first to tell you of the many blessings they receive in return. The Shrine welcomes both individual and group volunteers. Our volunteers provide faith-filled hospitality to our pilgrims in areas such as our Gift Shop, Schoolhouse Café, Welcome Center, special events, groundskeeping, special projects, and liturgical positions.
If you are looking to give back, find peace and share your faith, there is no better place to serve Jesus and His Mother than here at her Shrine!

Listed below are some of the more common volunteer opportunities available at the Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help.
Gift Shop or Cafe: assist pilgrims with finding items, tending cash register, moving inventory, etc.
Shrine Guide/Docent: stationed at various locations around the Shrine grounds; welcome pilgrims, offer directions to Shrine points of interest, answer questions on history, communicate upcoming events, etc.
Groundskeeping: assist with seasonal outdoor needs such as mulching, planting, watering, weeding, cleaning, candle organizing, etc.
Liturgical: altar service, reader, mass collection, music, choir, etc.
Special Events: help at one or multiple events; set up/take down, welcome pilgrims, give directions, serve food, registration, car parking, drive golf cart shuttles, etc.
Special Projects: stuff envelopes, sort materials, data entry, cut and laminate holy cards, package items, etc.
Volunteer as a Group: grounds keeping and cleaning projects designed to be done in a day or less.
