Personal veneration is available in the Chapel during the hour before the 11:30 a.m. Mass, offering quiet time for prayer and reflection.

St. Jude the Apostle’s feast day is on October 28. In honor of his life and witness, the National Shrine will bring his relic from the Apparition Oratory to the Apparition Chapel for veneration that day.

St. Jude was one of the Twelve Apostles and is honored as the patron saint of hopeless and desperate causes. Through his preaching and witness, he helped spread the Gospel to many regions after the Resurrection of Christ. His steadfast faith continues to inspire the faithful to trust in God even in the most difficult circumstances.
