Personal veneration is available in the Chapel during the hour before the 11:30 a.m. Mass, offering quiet time for prayer and reflection.

St. Maria Faustina Kowalska’s feast day is on October 5. In honor of her life and witness, the National Shrine will bring her relic from the Apparition Oratory to the Apparition Chapel for veneration that day.

All are welcome to attend and pray with this great Saint on her Feast Day!

St. Maria Faustina Kowalska was a Polish nun and mystic who received revelations from Jesus about His Divine Mercy. Through her diary and witness, she helped spread devotion to the Divine Mercy throughout the world. Her message reminds the faithful to trust in God’s mercy and to show mercy to others.
