Are you interested in going on a pilgrimage to the Shrine alone, alongside loved ones, or with a group of 10 or fewer people? You are welcome to visit these peaceful grounds 365 days a year; no appointment or reservation necessary!

The Shrine is a place of peaceful prayer and reflection, offering opportunities for pilgrims to receive the sacraments, renew their prayer life, reflect on the words our Blessed Mother said to Adele Brise in 1859, or just take a timeout from the stress and busyness of life.

Choose Pilgrimage Date / Arrange Travel

The first step in planning a pilgrimage to Champion Shrine is to determine the date on which you can travel. Perhaps you would like to plan a trip to the Shrine around a feast day Mass or during a special event at Champion Shrine. Visit our events page to view a list of upcoming activities at the Shrine.

Obtain Planning Guide & Resources

Visit the Visitor Resources Page for information that will help you plan your pilgrimage. Helpful publications are available for direct download from that page, including the Shrine’s Pilgrimage Planning Guide, sample itineraries, brochures, and travel information.

Secure Lodging if Visiting from Out of Town

While lodging is not provided on the Shrine grounds, there are many options for affordable accommodations in the tri-county region where Champion Shrine is located. Please visit our Lodging Page to see local options such as campsites, hotels, retreat centers, and B&Bs.

Decide on Food Options if Needed

If you or your loved ones will be planning to eat during the pilgrimage, see our Lodging and Food Page for a list of dining options available on the Shrine grounds or nearby.

Choose Mass Time & Submit Required Credentials

If you are a priest visiting the Shrine and would like to celebrate a special Mass or concelebrate with the Shrine’s Priests during our regular Mass times, please contact our pilgrimage planning coordinator at 920-866-2571 ext 113 to obtain the proper paperwork and/or submit the proper credentials from your Diocese or Archdiocese.
