St. Matthias the Apostle’s Feast Day is on May 14. In honor of his life and witness, the National Shrine will bring his relic from the Apparition Oratory to the
St. Matthias the Apostle’s Feast Day is on May 14. In honor of his life and witness, the National Shrine will bring his relic from the Apparition Oratory to the Apparition Chapel for Veneration that day. Personal veneration is available for the hour before the 11 a.m. Mass.
All are welcome to attend and pray with this great Saint on his Feast Day!
St. Matthias is the patron saint of carpenters, tailors, those with smallpox, and those struggling with alcoholism.
