On the anniversary of the Great Fire of 1871, the Shrine and the Belgian Heritage Center share the story of the Belgian settlers. That evening, thousands of candles light the grounds as the miracle of the fire is read aloud. The night continues with all-night Adoration and hourly rosary processions.
